About

Hello! I’m T’Arah Craig, LMT, (CD)DONA

About Me

I am a mother to two beautiful, free-spirited children. I am a queer woman and trauma survivor and believe in providing gender-affirming, trauma-informed, anti-racist, body positive care to all who enter my space. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist and have also served as a Birth Doula for the last 10 years, supporting over 400 families in labor to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience.

I believe that all life givers have a power within them to create a positive environment for their children beginning from the moment they enter the womb and continuing for the rest of their lives.

What Inspires Me

I yearn to create a space and a care for my clients, their partners, and their children that will continue to break down ancestral trauma and inspire a future where a new parent doesn’t have to stare into the darkness wondering if they have done ‘enough’. They will know that they are enough, and they will have countless resources to lift them up.

Mother Bear Massage is a break in that ongoing chain. To demonstrate the power of positive and consensual touch, to help someone finally feel what it is to take a truly deep breath, to have the skills and knowledge to bring that feeling home with them and spread through their community, impacting an even greater change.

Training and Experience

I graduated from Ke Kino Massage Academy and received my LMT license in 2021. I have hands-on training in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage Technique, Trigger Point, Prenatal/Postnatal Massage, energy work, and Muscle Energy Technique. In addition to my academy training, having over 11 years experience caring for pregnant bodies has given me a deep knowledge of the pregnant body.
